Learn More About The District Bar of the 18th Judicial District of North Carolina
The 18th Judicial District Bar is a mandatory association for lawyers who live or work in Orange County or Chatham County, North Carolina. Our district bar is one of 45 district bars in North Carolina, each of which is a subdivision of the North Carolina State Bar. Judicial district bars are coterminous with the prosecutorial districts of North Carolina, as defined pursuant to North Carolina General Statute § 7A-60. Every active member of the State Bar who resides in North Carolina must be a member of the judicial district bar where he or she resides or practices.
